Sydney - General Liability Senior Associate
Clyde & Co is known as a leading insurance law firm in Australia and our Sydney office currently has a position available for a motivated Senior Associate to join the general liability team.
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate to work closely with Partner, Lucinda Lyons, across all classes of general liability (complex product, catastrophic public, property and product liability matters as well as personal injury and professional indemnity matters).
As a senior lawyer in this team you will advise clients in relation to indemnity, liability and quantum and the progress of claims to resolution in accordance with the client’s interests, focusing on early consideration of settlement strategy to achieve the best commercial outcome.
The team is in need of an experienced senior lawyer who is capable of running matters and managing junior lawyers. You will need to be confident at building relationships with clients to better understand their business' needs and you will also have the freedom to develop and nurture your own client relationships.

Skills and experience
For this role, we are seeking a Senior Associate who has experience with personal injury matters representing compulsory third party insurers in public liability claims, dust disease claims and intentional tort matters. To apply you will need to have 5 - 8 years post qualification experience and be able to demonstrate that you maintained strong academic performance during your study and have a record of high performance throughout your career.
