About the role
We are seeking a bright and ambitious lawyer with 2 – 3 years post qualification experience to join the insurance litigation team in our Brisbane office and work alongside a senior partner whose practice specialises in the defence of maters across all classes of liability (complex product, catastrophic public and property liability matters as well as personal injury and professional indemnity matters).
If you are ready for progression in your career this role will allow you to start developing your specialism and your personal brand. You can expect to have regular interaction with the Partner who is very accessible and available, as well as mentoring from the senior lawyers in the team who prioritise the development of their colleagues. The nature and size of the team will mean that you are heavily involved in all aspects of their matters allowing you to make a significant contribution to their outcome. Further, you will be encouraged to foster and generate client relationships and will engage in business development frequently.

Skills and experience
For this role, we are seeking a lawyer with disputes experience in the area of insurance. Experience defending product and property labiality matters will be an advantage. To apply you will need to have 2 – 3 years post qualification experience and be able to demonstrate that you maintained strong academic performance during your study and have a record of high performance throughout your career.
