Clyde & Co seeks an enthusiastic attorney at the Senior Associate
level to join our New York office. The team practice litigation and
arbitration of complex insurance and commercial disputes and have
litigated matters at the trial and appellate levels in both US state
and federal courts.
The team advise London and domestic insurers across multiple lines of
coverage, with a specific focus on renewable energy insurance, and a
robust market leading first-party property, marine, commercial general
and excess liability and construction. They have successfully
represented US and foreign insurers in litigation involving high-value
insurance coverage disputes relating to property damage and business
interruption loss and product liability exposure.
Additionally, the team is frequently called upon to handle complex
international commercial disputes in the marine and trade sectors in
arbitrations administered by the ICC, AAA, ICDR and SMA.

Responsibilities
Prepare pleadings, briefs and other litigation documents
Prepare correspondence to colleagues and clients
Conduct legal research
Work on all aspects of pretrial to trial
Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations as required
Provide appeals and trial support
Education and Experience Required
Admitted to practice in New York
7 - 10 years of litigation experience
Strong academics and solid work history
State and Federal court experience
Skills and Abilities Required
Must possess strong research, writing, and analytical skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly

The salary range for this position is $190,000 - $210,000. The range
for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are
considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited
to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications;
and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range
estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic
differential associated with the location at which the position may be
filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired near the top
of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent
on the facts and circumstances of each case.
