Overview
Working within a team of our in-house Maintenance Department, supporting approximately 600 staff spread over 3 sites in London ranging from Partners, Solicitors, Trainees and Secretarial staff through to other support departments such as IT, post room and reprographics.
To respond to reactive works as reported via the Facilities Help Desk, internal office moves, general maintenance, preparation of rooms for conferences and meetings (including setting up of video conference, audio visual equipment and telecoms systems), maintenance and adjustment of office furniture and fittings and other ad hoc tasks as directed by the Building Services Supervisor.
Main Responsibilities
• General building maintenance, including basic plumbing and maintenance work • Assist in setting up conference areas for meetings, seminars and video conferences • Responsible for setting up AV equipment for seminars and meetings • Respond to lift trappings and release • Installing and moving telephone equipment and extensions • Monitoring and adjusting air conditioning • Assist in office moves and relocations, including data and electrical services • Adjustment and maintenance of lighting • Respond to emergency calls • Other adhoc duties as required
Candidate Specification
• Knowledge of M & E services, video conference and audio visual systems • Experience within a Professional Services/Legal environment • Prior experience using the call logging system – CAFM or similar
