Demand on our services has created an opportunity for a front end/Projects & Construction Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join the Sydney team primarily working with Brisbane based Partner Ren Niemann. Working across a range of large domestic and international projects this is a unique opportunity to pursue an area of law that presents exciting potential for career advancement and significant development opportunities. The key responsibilities and requirements for this role are as follows;

Responsibilities

• Assist clients, including developer, lender, contractor and government clients on a range of front-end matters and large-scale projects

• Advise on and draft a range of project documentation including concession agreements/project deeds, EPC/construction contracts, operation and maintenance/facilities management agreements, interface agreements, consultancy agreements, supply and offtake agreements, long term services agreements, lenders' direct agreements etc.

• Liaise with clients and assist in negotiations

• Assist with business development and marketing initiatives

Requirements

• 8+ years PQE gained within a construction or projects practice

• Strong client liaison skills

• Excellent analytical, drafting and communication skills

• Strong time management & organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects and conflicting priorities simultaneously
