We currently have an opportunity for a dedicated and proactive Word Processing Operator to join the National Corporate Services team based in our Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne office. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to work in a collaborative national team. As a valued member of the Corporate Services team, this role will be responsible for providing proactive, high quality administrative support across the firm. The hours for this role are Monday-Friday 8.30 am - 4.30 pm.

The key responsibilities and requirements for this role are as follows:

Responsibilities

  • Creating and editing complex documents ensuring they are professionally finished following style guides, correct alignment and referencing, and precedence for legal terms
  • Ensuring documents are functional and user friendly
  • Creating and formatting of various marketing documents (tender documents, newsletters etc)
  • Assisting authors and legal assistants to develop and embrace IT skills and technology
  • Ad-hoc administration requests.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role ideally gained within a law firm environment
  • Advanced technical skills in the Microsoft software programs particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • High typing speed
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks, work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with confidential information and maintain confidentiality.
