We are looking for a financial markets lawyer with at least 3 years PQE to be based in Beijing or Shanghai.  The ideal candidate will have experience in advising both domestic and international banks and other financial institutions in relation to the legal and regulatory regime in the PRC in the context of financial markets transactions they execute.  We are looking to further strengthen the PRC focussed part of our Financial Markets practice and this is therefore a genuinely exciting opportunity to become part of a growing PRC team. 

Ideally PRC qualified, with fluency in Mandarin as well as English to the level they are able to draft and negotiate documents in both Mandarin and English.  The ability to demonstrate the potential to cultivate strong relationships with PRC financial institutions and relevant government agencies would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Hong Kong Financial Markets Group and report to the Head of the Financial Markets Group in Hong Kong, as well as the Head of the International Financial Markets Group in London.  The successful candidate will be highly motivated, presentable and confident.
