Client Development Executive - Commercial
Position
Full Time
Role
Business Services
Location
London
Experience
Business Services
Description
The role
Strategic and hands on. Driven and down-to-earth. Independent and
collaborative. We're looking for an energetic, highly organised and
commercially minded Executive to support the launch, implementation
and day to day management of a key client programme for our Commercial
Group at RPC.
- - - - - - -
The Group - which is really flying - is made up of a range of
practices, broadly split into TMT, Corporate, and Commercial Disputes.
It also has a focus on certain sectors, notably Retail & Consumer,
and Technology & Media. In addition, there is significant overlap
with our Regulatory team and our Insurance Group.
Handling a mix of contentious and non-contentious work, clients of
the Group include many household names, from well-known high street
retailers to global digital platforms.
Working hand-in-hand with the Senior Client Development Manager and
Commercial Business Development Team, as well as client teams,
Commercial Group lawyers, and business development and marketing
colleagues, this is a rare and exciting opportunity to be part of the
development and implementation of a client development programme right
at the outset and collaborate on the firm's approach to growing its
clients more broadly. The implementation of a client development
programme is an integral next step in helping the firm and the Group
achieve its ambitious growth targets.
The successful candidate will have business development, marketing or
client development experience ideally gained within a professional
services firm, although that is not essential.
The role would be suitable for an Assistant or Coordinator, ideally
with previous experience of working in a law firm, looking to step up,
or an existing Executive who is looking for a new challenge in a
specialist client development role at a firm where they can help shape
the growth of one of the firm's largest and most dynamic groups. The
role will provide a high degree of visibility for the successful
candidate and will involve working very closely and collaboratively
with senior stakeholders and proactive, dynamic and commercially
focused lawyers across the firm.
With no key client programme currently in place for the Commercial
Group, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a tangible
impact very quickly alongside the Senior Client Development Manager,
and the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues in our Insurance
Group and internationally on the client development focus firmwide.
