Role Overview
You will be part of a new programme delivery function, who will be
tasked with ensuring an ambitious portfolio of business change and
technology projects are delivered on time and in line with the firm's
objectives and strategy. You'll be responsible for supporting the
team, and ensuring projects are coordinated and managed appropriately,
in line with a governance framework that you'll help to create.
Reports to
Project Manager
Duties and Responsibilities include but not are limited to the following:
Helping to establish the project delivery function, which will
involve designing and implementing our internal processes and
governance arrangements, and working with other business services
colleagues to define the scope and remit of the team and its
position in the firm
Developing and maintaining relationships with key internal and
external stakeholders, customers, and suppliers
Ensuring the agreed project management methods, standards and
processes are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Assisting the Project and Change Managers in the production and
maintenance of project plans and other project related documentation
Co-ordinate the production of all reports and produce project
summary reports
Set up and maintain systems for recording project costs
Maintain risk and issue logs and change control records
Knowledge, skills and experience
Experience of working in a legal or other professional services environment
Knowledge and experience of working with a range of project and
risk management methodologies and techniques, and related governance
frameworks and documentation
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Keen attention to detail and numeracy skills
Ability to deal with difficult or demanding situations
Self-motivated and directed
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Analytical skills
Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and
multi-tasking skills
