ROLE OVERVIEW

The role

As a Risk and Compliance Administrator based in RPC's hybrid working Bristol office, you will be part of the Risk and Compliance team. The Risk and Compliance team advises the entire firm, including our Singapore and Hong Kong offices. Headed up by our General Counsel ("GC"), the Risk and Compliance team is made up of eight members who are a mix of qualified lawyers and risk specialists who typically advise on a wide range of risk topics in a fast-paced environment.

Your role will provide administrative support to the risk lawyers and professionals in the team, with. a particular focus on working with our Head Of Commercial Contracting (Lawyer) helping to implement and manage the procurement processes for the Firm.

You will work closely with the Risk team and also have the opportunity to interact and work collaboratively with our Business Services colleagues across the firm and also our partners and matter teams, when required.

At RPC, training and development is important. You will receive bespoke training with an induction built around regular tasks the team complete. You will also have access to a broad curriculum of firm wide training events and be able to participate in specific Risk and Compliance training and any knowledge sharing arranged within the team appropriate to your role.

Key Responsibilites
  • Assisting the team in ensuring we keep organised in our approach to work and delivery of a first-class service to our 'clients' - including but not limited to overseeing the team's intranet pages, updates to policies, preparing data for internal reporting and updating records and registers
  • Helping with keeping accurate up to date records for the contracting work undertaken by the Risk team
  • Providing general administrative support as required by the Risk team, including amending and formatting documents; arranging meetings and booking rooms as required
  • Assisting with the management of the Risk general inbox, as required
  • Supporting the Head Of Commercial Contracting in the management of the RPC Supplier onboarding processes, including configuring and managing our third party risk management software as necessary

  • Assisting/ working alongside the GC and all members of the risk team

  • Contributing to the development and improvement of the team's service, support, processes, and procedures - ensuring the team maintains a good reputation within the firm of good service
