Job Title Real Estate Solicitor / Associate (Social Housing and Regeneration) 2+ years PQE
Job Location Bristol
Department Real Estate
Description

The role

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Real Estate Solicitor or Associate (2 years + PQE) to join our highly regarded team. Based in our Bristol office, you will focus predominantly on social housing and regeneration development work. Our client base comprises a fantastic mix of national housing associations, charities and local authorities and will allow you to experience social housing development real estate work from all angles.

You will be enthusiastic to expand your skills and knowledge, whilst working within a supportive and experienced team. We pride ourselves on our ability to develop our people, and as such, you will be responsible for dealing with complex high quality, high value work and will be afforded high levels of responsibility from the outset.

We are an ambitious team which is looking to grow and as such you will also play an integral role in business development, where you will be encouraged to work on developing the Ashfords housing and regeneration practice.

About You

An excellent communicator with proven technical and organisational skills, you'll be accustomed to working under pressure to meet challenging deadlines, and already have a firm grounding in real estate development work and a strong interest in the housing sector. With an eye for detail, you'll be meticulous and thorough in your work, with experience in acting for a range of clients.

Our relationship with our clients is paramount. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to build strong and lasting relationships with clients, and show a genuine commitment to their business needs. Being self-motivated and ambitious, you will be keen to expand your knowledge and experience, and possess the drive to help us continue to grow and develop our business. Clients will be looking to you to be up to date regarding the latest policy developments affecting the sector, and as such, you'll need to demonstrate a genuine interest and enthusiasm for your work, and its wider implications for our clients. In return, we will support you to grow your professional networks, and maximise business development opportunities through access to relevant events and conferences, enhancing your knowledge and credibility across the sector.

Whilst the role will be based at our Bristol office, it will be possible to offer a blend of home and office based working. It is therefore important that you are, or will be, living within a commutable distance of the office, in order to meet the needs of the team you are joining.

About Us

Working for Ashfords, you can expect to be provided with excellent training and development opportunities, in order to further your career in a stimulating yet supportive, forward thinking firm. We're ambitious - for ourselves, and for our people - and want to support you to realise your full potential, whilst enjoying a positive work-life balance in a beautiful South West location.
