The Role

We are seeking two ambitious and capable individuals, either Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licenced Conveyancer qualified, to join our busy Residential Property team. Based in our Exeter office, you will report directly to a Partner, Senior Associate or Associate and be supported by a team of Conveyancing Assistants and Executives. Together you will be handling a wide range of residential property transactions, and be integral in the development of skills and knowledge across the team. As one of the largest property teams in the South West, we advise both private clients and lending institutions on all matters relating to buying and selling all types of residential property, from the first time buyer purchasing a shared ownership flat to a substantial rural estate or London property. About You

As an experienced Residential Property Lawyer, Legal Executive or Licenced Conveyancer, you will have already experience of working on a range of residential property transactions, and be seeking to develop your skills and knowledge further, whilst being supported by experienced colleagues. An effective communicator, you are confident in your ability to build new relationships and you may already have had the opportunity to engage in networking and business development activities as part of your work to date. You'll be accustomed to working under pressure to meet challenging deadlines, whilst maintaining an eye for detail, and being meticulous in your work. You are motivated and ambitious, and already possess the drive to help continue to grow and develop our business.

You will be able to demonstrate your ability to build strong and lasting relationships with clients and show a genuine commitment to their business needs. Being self-motivated and ambitious, you will be keen to learn more about the residential property sector and possess the drive to help us continue to grow and develop our business. In this dynamic market, clients will be looking to you to be up to date regarding the latest policy and legal developments affecting the sector and, as such, you will need to demonstrate an interest and enthusiasm for this area of the economy and its wider implications for our clients and the department's business.
