The Opportunity:

We are currently looking for a senior level associate to join our growing Projects & Energy Transition team in Jakarta, with experience primarily in energy as well as infrastructure and mining.

Our Projects & Energy Transition team in Jakarta has established itself as one of the pre-eminent projects practices in Indonesia. We act for both private and public sector clients on some of the region's most iconic projects in the energy and resources, transportation and social infrastructure sectors in Indonesia and other countries across South-East Asia.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • projects experience with one or more leading law firms in Indonesia with exposure to projects with a focus on any of the following sectors: power and renewable energy, oil and gas, mining and infrastructure;
  • post qualification experience of more than 5 years;
  • excellent proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia. Proficiency in any other language is a plus;
  • superior drafting ability
  • strong attention to detail with well-developed analytical skills
  • ability to be team-focused and also work independently
  • ability to supervise and nurture junior lawyers
  • a proactive, positive and energetic approach with a commitment to providing excellent service and, a desire to interact with the market and build client relationships
