Solutions Architect -12 month FTC

The Opportunity

Ashurst is a leading progressive global law firm with a rich history spanning more than 200 years.

Our Enterprise Architecture team has a great opportunity for an experienced Solutions Architect to join the global team for a 12 month fixed term contract and contribute to the design and implementation of innovative solutions for our clients. You will collaborate with clients, both technical and business, to define requirements, create architectural designs and oversee the successful implementation of solutions. You will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions.

It is important to note that due to the global nature of the team, this role will require frequent collaboration with our UK office, and therefore flexibility to work outside of standard Australian business hours on a regular basis is required.

Our ideal candidate will have the following skills & experience:

  • Strong background in solutions architecture working across all domains
  • Demonstrated broad experience in the IT industry with good understanding of business, data, applications, technology and security architectures
  • Good knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF or other) and experience of modelling within an enterprise architecture tool, ideally Orbus iServer
  • Well developed communication skills both written and verbal, especially strong active listening skills
  • A broad understanding of the latest developments in technologies, industry specific issues, competitor and vendor activity and initiatives
