The Opportunity:

We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Practice Executive to join our team in Canberra on a full-time permanent basis.

As a Practice Executive you will provide high level, proactive business support to the Partners within your designated division, you will work closely with our dedicated hub of Team Assistants and Team Executives who are responsible for managing all business as usual administrative tasks.

As a pivotal member of the team some of your of your main responsibilities will be;

  • Practice & Client Management
  • Billing Management
  • Diary/Travel Management

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Security Clearance: the successful candidate must hold and maintain a security clearance at Baseline Vetting Level.
  • High degree of initiative, pro-activity and problem solving skills, with a willingness to take ownership for the completion of tasks/projects and deliver innovative solutions to improve systems or work practices.
  • Commercial acumen, with the ability to understand the commercial drivers of a legal practice, interpret data and apply client knowledge when supporting partners with practice management.
  • A client focused approach including the ability to grow a network of professional relationships with counterparts in client organisations as well as with internal stakeholders and colleagues around the firm.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Strong written communication skills and keen attention to detail, with the ability to draft correspondence, presentations, pitch documents and slide packs quickly and accurately.
