Job overview

The legal services market has and continues to undergo fundamental change driven by:

  • Regulation - which means new entrants are joining the legal services market;
  • Technology - is increasingly impacting the way in which services are delivered, driving greater efficiency;
  • Client expectations - expect their law firms to deliver more value.

The traditional model for delivering legal services is therefore being redefined. Our clients want us to take responsibility for efficient sourcing of legal services without compromising on quality. We also want to maximise operational efficiency and remain competitive and innovative.

In response to these challenges, Ashurst established a new office in Glasgow in 2013 to deliver innovative, market-leading legal services and solutions, consistent with Ashurst's status as a global elite firm. The success of that office led to further openings in Brisbane, Australia, and, most recently in February 2024, Krakow, Poland - our Global Delivery Centres.

The flow of interesting and challenging work in to these Global Delivery Centres is increasing and we are seeking new Legal Analysts to join our Delivery Legal team in Glasgow. The team, now over 50 strong, comprises qualified lawyers and experienced analysts (from entry level to Senior Manager). They have an extremely flexible skill-set and have been trained across several different areas of work. It offers a great grounding in NewLaw with a variety of pathways, including, but not limited to, traditional practice.
