About the role

  • This is a Cyber Executive role, working under the guidance of our Cyber Partner and Director to deliver cyber risk consultancy services to our clients across various industries
  • Supporting cyber readiness and response projects, such as cyber risk assessments, gap analysis, remediation plans, incident response plans, tabletop exercises, and post-incident reviews
  • Assisting in cyber M&A deal lifecycle and/or cyber security supply chain management projects, such as cyber due diligence, integration planning, contract review, and vendor risk management
  • Conducting research and analysis on cyber regulatory and legal developments, industry trends, and client needs
  • Developing and maintaining client relationships and identifying new business opportunities
  • Contributing to the growth and development of the cyber business in the UK, such as by creating thought leadership, marketing materials, proposals, and case studies

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in cyber risk consultancy, cyber M&A, cyber security supply chain management, or a similar role, either in-house or in a professional services firm
  • A solid understanding of cyber security concepts, frameworks, standards, and best practices, such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls, GDPR, etc
  • An undergraduate degree. Should that degree be in cyber security, computer science, law, or a related field, or equivalent professional qualifications or experience, which is welcome, though not essential
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and report writing skills, with the ability to tailor your message to different audiences and stakeholders
  • A proactive, collaborative, and client-focused approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A strong network and reputation in the cyber/C-suite community, or the ambition and potential to build one
  • A commercial acumen and a keen interest in the legal and regulatory aspects of cyber security
