We understand that our clients need access to highly qualified lawyers and paralegals, often at short notice and/or for short periods, whether that be to meet internal client demands, backfill leave, provide cover during recruitment or to assist with specialised projects. We deliver a seamless, fast and trusted solution to these issues.

Ashurst Reach is an integral part of the firm's NewLaw division, Ashurst Advance. Our focus is solving our clients' business problems through optimal efficiency, cost effectiveness and digitally innovative legal service delivery.

Skills and Experience needed:

  • Strong knowledge of Privacy Act, Privacy Principles (including the proposed Privacy Reforms), Consumer Data Rights and Concessions, particularly from a compliance lens
  • Experience in providing advice on privacy matters
  • Experience with drafting reports of potential breaches to the OAIC
  • Experience in engaging with the ACCC on CRD matters
  • Experience in energy/renewables
  • Ability to hit the ground running and work closely with a fast paced team
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritise
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical experience and problem solving skills
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience
  • The ability to understand and adapt to the needs of the business
  • A current practising certificate
  • Applicants must have the right to live and work in Australia
