Job Overview:

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Junior Associate to reinforce our Global Loans team.

This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of international finance, where you will contribute to complex transactions and develop your legal expertise in a supportive and intellectually stimulating environment.

Our first class Global Loans team specialises in advising our clients on all aspects of complex financing transactions across:

  • Leveraged and acquisition finance
  • Fund finance
  • Real estate finance
  • Infrastructure finance
  • Structured finance
  • Asset finance
  • Securitisation
  • Capital markets

We would also be expected to manage projects that have been assigned to you and liaise closely with colleagues across the network, clients, counterparties and other advisers.

About you:

Experience:

  • 0-2 years experience in transactional banking and finance with a global law firm or a large local law firm;
  • You successfully passed an academic degree in law, ideally completed by an LL.M degree. An additional, a specialized Master's degree or a business management degree (HEC, ESCP, IEP, ESSEC, etc.) would be an asset;
  • Qualified junior level lawyer or preparing a Bar in any European jurisdiction.

Skills:

  • Fluency in English and French is a must. German would be an asset;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Strong attention to detail with well-developed analytical skills;
  • The ability to be team-focused and to also work independently;
  • A proactive, positive and energetic approach with a commitment to providing excellent service.
