Our Projects and Commercial Advisory capability delivers strategic projects and commercial advice and solutions to enable planning, delivery and operation of major infrastructure projects and programs across a range of priority portfolios including energy, transport, housing, health, education and others.

As a result of establishing and growing our team we are looking to hire a Specialist (equivalent to a Senior Consultant in Big4 consulting) with contracts management and/or audit experience in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane.

Your work will include advising clients on the design, development and implementation of contracts which will deliver major infrastructure projects, Defence projects as well as long-term services based contracts for utilities and transport operators. You will work closely with our adjacent legal services teams as well as our broader risk advisory and Ashurst Advance practices to deliver high quality, value adding services to clients wanting to extract maximum value from their contracting arrangements.

The role also provides the opportunity to work across our Projects and Commercial Advisory teams and the broader Risk Advisory division to help develop your broader skills and experience.

About You:

  • You have 2-5 years of specialised contracts management and/or audit experience, ideally within an infrastructure environment.
  • Experience in the infrastructure, projects or property industry is essential.
  • You're a self-starter who is keen to work in a fast-paced environment that is always evolving and requires you to be proactive, adaptable and humble.
  • You have proven experience delivering high quality work for clients and stakeholders in line with expectations and deadlines.
  • You're confident in autonomously finding solutions to a range of problems, especially those related to risk management, in a commercial and client focused way.
  • You have exceptional written and verbal communication with a focus on attention to detail. You will have experience writing a range of business documents including reports, letters and proposals.
  • You have experience providing the highest quality service to clients and fostering professional and commercial relationships with a range of stakeholders.
