The opportunity:
Ashurst's Corporate Transactions team works on market leading transactions, with recent work including:

  • ANZ's $4.9 billion acquisition of Suncorp Bank
  • Alcoa's $3.4 billion acquisition of Alumina Limited
  • PAG's acquisition of Australian Venue Co
  • the competitive sale process for 7-Eleven Australia


Due to continued growth, we are looking for a senior Lawyer or Senior Associate with at least 4 years' PAE and proven M&A experience who want to work hard to progress and accelerate their careers.

About you:

  • 4 years'+ proven experience across a range of M&A transactions, ideally both public and private, gained within a top-tier or mid-tier firm;
  • strength in technical excellence, combined with a commercial approach;
  • a proactive, positive and energetic approach with a commitment to providing excellent service; and
  • a desire to interact with the market, build client relationships and invest in your career as part of our team.
