The Opportunity:
Ashurst's national market leading Corporate Transactions and M&A team advises a wide range of public and private clients on complex and high-profile matters involving M&A, IPO's, joint venture agreements, capital raisings, shareholder agreements and restructures across various sectors including energy, mining and infrastructure.


The team are now looking for an ambitious, driven and committed mid level or senior practitioner to join this growing practice. This opportunity represents an outstanding opportunity for a team-player with strong technical skills and who is commercially astute to join this well established and high regarded team.

About you:

  • Minimum 5+ years' commercial experience gained within a top-tier firm;
  • Strong experience in M&A transactions, joint venture agreements, capital raisings and shareholder agreements;
  • Excellent technical and drafting skills coupled with commercial nous;
  • Experience in the energy, mining and infrastructure sectors desired but not essential;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Interest in mentoring junior lawyers and contribute to their development and growth;
  • Proactive, committed and ambitious.
