Job Title Information Security Officer

The Opportunity:

We have a permanent role available for an experienced Information Security Officer to join our global team in Sydney. This role will be crucial in ensuring the security of our systems and data by evaluating the risks associated with third party vendors and internal projects and recommending appropriate risk mitigation strategies. You will work closely with cross functional teams including procurement, project management and technical teams to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.

Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience working in a similar role with a background in security, governance, risk & compliance
  • Strong knowledge of information security principles, best practices and standards eg., ISO 27001, NIST
  • Industry certification such as CISM, CISA or similar
  • Experience in conducting vendor risk assessments and project security risk assessments
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to data privacy and protection eg., GDPR, CCPA
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with business stakeholders at all levels
