Job Title Practice Executive - Dispute Resolution

The Opportunity:

We currently have an exciting permanent opportunity for available for a Practice Executive to join our Sydney team.

In this role you will provide high level, proactive business support to Partners within our Dispute Resolution practice and work closely with our dedicated hub of Team Assistants and Team Executives who are responsible for managing all business as usual administrative tasks.

As a Practice Executive with Ashurst, some of your main responsibilities will be:

  • Practice and client management
  • Billing and debtor management
  • Business development and marketing
  • Providing mentoring and training support to Team Assistants and Team Executives

About you:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a senior administration/Executive Assistant role in a law firm, or other professional services, or corporate environment.
  • Previous experience in roles requiring a high degree of confidentiality and professional discretion.
  • Strong written communication skills and keen attention to detail, with the ability to draft correspondence, presentations, pitch documents and slide packs quickly and accurately.
  • A high degree of initiative, pro-activity and solving skills, with a willingness to take ownership for the completion of tasks/projects whilst delivering innovative solutions to improve systems or work practices.
  • Strong influencing skills, with the ability to respectfully manage upwards with stakeholders.
  • Effective delegation skills including taking responsibility for providing timely feedback in a constructive way if work deliverables are not in line with expectations.
