Description

Our team has an immediate opening for a New York qualified attorney (3-5 years' experience) for its world-class infrastructure/projects practice in the New York office. Ashurst combines the benefits of a leading infrastructure/projects practice with a supportive and collegiate environment.

  • You will interact directly with clients and act with integrity to provide incisive advice to clients, with the support of your colleagues.
  • You will have the opportunity to lead the drafting of complex and innovative transaction documentation and negotiate terms on behalf of clients.
  • You will take responsibility for day to day matters on complex transactions.
  • You will supervise and mentor junior attorneys on the team.
  • You will demonstrate excellence in communicating with clients in order to understand their needs and how best to meet them.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • 3-5 years' projects/project finance/infrastructure experience gained within private practice or in-house.
  • All candidates must be licensed to practice law in NY.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail with well-developed analytical skills.

In accordance with New York's Pay Transparency Law, the pay range for this position is $225,000-$310,000 per year. The compensation offered to a candidate selected for employment will be dependent upon various factors, including the candidate's geographic market, skills, educational and professional background, experience and overall qualifications.
