About the role:

Join our award-winning team as an experienced and motivated Digital Solution Engineer. This is a new created role with a focus on the continuous innovation of digital legal solutions. Our team drives the firm's innovation strategy by utilising technology to create an impact in legal services and solutions. In this development role, you will configure, develop, deploy, and support custom business applications and automated workflows using Microsoft technologies, including PowerApps, Power Automate, Power Pages, SQL and Power BI.

Being part of Ashurst Advance, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of legal services by leveraging technology to create impactful digital legal solutions. You will collaborate closely with our Ashurst Advance Digital Services team, who will provide user stories and requirements, ensuring that the solutions you develop align with our clients' objectives. Together, you will support the transformation of legal services through creative and agile solutions, making a significant contribution to the rapidly evolving landscape of technology-enabled legal solutions.

About you:

  • You already have 4+ years of experience in building solutions with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages and have a background in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related industry certification.
  • Demonstrated experience developing solutions in Power Platform and SQL
  • Design, develop, and implement custom applications using Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Create and configure custom connectors and integrate with various data sources including SharePoint, SQL Server, and other third-party services.
  • Develop detailed solution designs and architecture for Power Platform applications.
  • Code optimisation to ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and meet performance requirements.
  • Proficiency in one or more of the following native languages: .NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.
  • Ability learn new application API library knowledge to develop integrated solutions.
  • Familiarity with Azure services and their integration with Power Platform.
  • SharePoint experience with designer and custom workflows, JSOM, CSOM, JavaScript, JQuery, CAML, and branding customization.
  • You are certified in PL-100 and PL-200 or are willing to obtain them in the first months after joining
  • Skill in designing, developing, testing, and deploying database-driven applications accessing Microsoft Dataverse and/or SQL Server.
