We are looking for a Paralegal to join the highly regarded Dispute
Resolution Department at Baker McKenzie LLP based in the Firm's London office.
It is essential that the successful applicant has gained paralegal
experience from a professional services environment, ideally within a
law firm. We are looking for someone to join the team who has a very
strong work ethic and a genuine interest in this area of law.
Please note that this role is a Paralegal position and is not an
entry route to complete a training contract or professional
qualification with Baker McKenzie. The two recruitment processes are
completely separate.
The Team
The Dispute Resolution team includes over 850 Dispute Resolution
lawyers based across 77 offices worldwide, including the main
financial centres and emerging markets. Our lawyers are familiar with
the legal and regulatory environment, language, culture, and way of
doing business in each of the jurisdictions in which we operate.
We provide risk management, litigation, arbitration and mediation
advice across a range of sectors, including:
Oil & Gas
Construction and Mining
Telecommunications, Media and Technology
Cybersecurity
Consumer Products and Retail
Pharmaceuticals and Life Sciences
We focus on advising clients through the entire lifecycle of a
transaction or product to minimise exposure to risk and avoid
disputes. If a dispute does arise, we advise on the pre-contentious
negotiations, choosing the best dispute resolution option and then
accompany clients through the process, whether this involves
litigation, international arbitration, or alternative dispute resolution.

As the first truly global law firm, diversity and inclusion are
foundational to our culture and strategic vision. We are a Firm of
individuals from across the globe with different backgrounds, ideas,
and points of view who collegially work together to solve complex
problems and design practical solutions for our clients. Our multiple

identity and expression, disability, parental status, education,
social background and life experience of our people.
Our global strategy is focused on our people, our culture, our
clients and the communities where we operate. In 2019 we enacted
ambitious new targets related to gender, racial and ethnic diversity
at the Firm. These targets are viewed as a floor, not a ceiling, to
advancing underrepresented groups, and they are backed by a variety of
strategic initiatives aimed at achieving our goals. Our strategic
vision is supported in London by six active employee led networks
which champion diversity, lead on a number of internal campaigns and
deliver a range of activity to celebrate differences in identity,
inclusion, and key dates throughout the year including: LGBT+ History

Visibility, Mental Health Awareness Week, Pride, Black History Month,
Social Mobility Week, International Day of Disabled Persons and many more!
