The role

Bevan Brittan has an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Administrator to join the Business Support Services team. The team support our lawyers by completing a wide range of administrative tasks. This role will have a focus on compliance administration. The hours are 36.25 per week, working 7.25 hour shifts between the hours of 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday, however we are open to requests to work more flexibly. This role is based in our London office.

Responsibilities:

  • Electronic filing using our document management systems
  • Managing the loan card spreadsheet and auditing as appropriate
  • Processing incoming and outgoing post
  • Managing the confidential waste checklist, to be completed and saved on our electronic filing system, DMS
  • Compiling electronic bundles
  • Ensuring medical records are destroyed after 2 months in line with our data retention policy
  • Conflict searching and matter opening
  • All mail correspondence checked and destroyed after 3 months in line with our data retention policy
  • Processing incoming requests via the departmental inboxes
  • Reprographics
  • Maintaining stationery and hand gel supplies
  • Compliance and health and safety checks such as recording fridge temperatures daily
  • First aid box checks and re-ordering
  • Preparing files for closing
  • Scheduling deeds
  • Hold master spread sheet for lockers in each office and update as required

What we are looking for from you
