You will be working within the Business Support Services Team who
support the Fee Earners completing a wide range of Administration
tasks being instrumental in ensuring the fee earners can concentrate
on our clients.

Work co-ordination
The Business Support Co-Ordinator will ensure all areas of the
administration; Hub, Reception and post services are fully operational
and consistently achieving SLA's by effectively managing resources and
taking responsibility for daily allocation of tasks for team members.
It is a multi-skilled operational position including administrative,
reprographics, post-room and reception duties. In addition, you will
assist all Business Support Service (BSS) teams to provide an
industry-leading service by effectively coordinating workloads and
people. Your responsibilities are multi-faceted and are highlighted
below in line with the variety of aspects of the role. You will also
be expected to support the Firms transformation objectives and
contribute to projects in line with your role:
Operational duties
The Business Support Coordinator will be a key team member across all
BSS departments including administration, the Hub and Reception. This
role will report to the Business Support Services Team Leader and the
Co-ordinator will work alongside the other Co-ordinators in the firm,
to ensure resources can be shared effectively and provide relevant
cover. This includes but is not limited to the efficient and prompt
answering of client queries, file maintenance and file management, the
opening and closing of matters, delivery and distribution of incoming
and outgoing mail, post-room duties, copying, scanning and printing.
In addition to this is cover of the client facing reception area,
meeting room management and switchboard answering.
People co-ordination
When required, the successful candidate will assist in the smooth and
efficient running of the department by ensuring staff start on and
finish on time and managing break times. You will monitor workloads
to ensure your team have plenty to do, and that reception is fully resourced.
The Business Support Coordinator will assist in the training of new
starters, 121 training sessions in conjunction with the Business
Support Services Team Leader and feeding back to the team leader any challenges.
The coordinator will be responsible for continued and proactive
training and upskilling of staff to meet the changing needs of
staffing and skills levels in the different business departments.
The successful candidate will liaise with their Team Leader on using
other resource when capacity requires and assisting other departments
in quiet periods.
Personal Specification
Minimum 6 months experience in a legal environment
Enthusiastic and positive approach
Proficiency using IT systems and all office packages
Solid organisational skills
Ability to work in a pressured environment
Strong team work ethic
Ability to work independently and unsupervised
Experience coordinating in a complex workflow environment
Capable of taking initiative and developing solutions
People management experience would be advantageous
