Our Dispute Resolution team been is growing and we're looking for talented, commercial litigators to join our team. Our lawyers are "pragmatic, sensible and intelligent" (Chambers) and when you join our team in Bristol, you will be part of a major UK litigation practice which is "very commercially orientated" (Chambers).

The Work You'll Do

We have a strong reputation for core litigation services and have developed significant disputes practices in a range of industry sectors and legal specialisms including:

Transport / Financial Services / Energy, Pensions / Fraud & White Collar Crime / Banking, IP / Heath & Safety / Food / Agriculture / Real Estate.

Our lawyers get to work across a range of different practice areas before specialising, ranging from market leading, complex litigation to commercial cases for which they can assume prime responsibility.

Our clients operate in both the private and public sectors, and include: Airbus, BBC, Coca Cola HBC, Discovery Channel, Harrods, FirstGroup, Victoria's Secret, The Crown Estate, National Crime Agency, Nationwide Building Society and Royal Bank of Scotland.

As a Lawyer you will have personal benchmarks, ensuring the work assigned to you is delivered profitably and accurately recorded. You will actively participate in the firm's efforts to develop client relationships, continue to improve your technical skills and understanding, and to contribute positively to the firms culture as a valued colleague.

We carry out litigation in London, internationally and throughout the rest of the UK. We are regularly involved in arbitrations and in industry-specific dispute resolution procedures, as well as acting in major regulatory and criminal investigations.

What We're Looking For

We look for individuals who have developed themselves and their capabilities, coupled with strong commercial acumen and experience. You will be a strong team player with excellent interpersonal, client and commercial skills.As an Associate, you will be responsible for achieving your own personal benchmarks and supporting those, you are supervising to achieve theirs too.We will suit people who are adaptable, able and interested in picking up a variety of different matters over the coming years and able to deal with complex work.

You will need to be a registered Solicitor with the Solicitors Regulatory Authority by September 2020 (or prior).
