Description

We are currently recruiting for a Client Onboarding Assistant to join our Client Intake team. The role is based in our Bristol office which is located in the heart of the city, a stone's throw from Bristol Temple Meads, although at present, the team is mainly working remotely.

The Client Intake team is responsible for a range of client and matter on-boarding activities, including managing the firm's client matter inception process, conducting AML checks, running conflict checks, updating and managing client purchase orders, matter closure and routine client and matter data maintenance.

As our Client Onboarding Assistant you will be the first point of contact for our legal teams, you will be responsible for providing an efficient AML and conflict check service whilst also ensuring that all data is of good quality and accurate. You can expect to become a 'go to' person for enquiries and will always be ready to respond in an efficient and professional manner.

To be successful as our Client Onboarding Assistant, you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Experience in a similar New Business Intake or Client Onboarding role in the legal sector or in professional services.
  • An understanding of anti-money laundering, client due diligence and know your client requirements.
  • Have a general understanding of how to deal with conflicts of interest checks
  • A customer focused approach and able to work collaboratively at all levels, building and developing relationships with Lawyers, PAs, Assistants and other key stakeholders across the Firm
  • A good working knowledge of MS Office applications (Outlook, Word and Excel) is essential.

We work in a fast-paced environment so you will need to keep up; adaptability and resilience are key to success in this role. Our Client Intake team work very hard but in return we offer support and a fantastic environment to work in.
