The Role

The firm's national projects and regeneration team carries out a full range of property work including development and construction work for its housing association and social care clients.

We are now seeking a commercial lawyer (ideally with 2+ years PQE) to join our busy commercial team that operates in London, Leeds and Winchester. The successful candidate will undertake a wide range of high quality and complex commercial work primarily for our public sector housing association and healthcare clients.

The successful candidate will be a commercially minded solicitor who can work very closely with clients, provide first class practical advice and who istechnically proficient in drafting and advising on a range of contractual agreements, including service contracts, joint venture arrangement, contracts for the supply of goods and services and IT / software related contractual arrangements .Prior experience in social housing or in healthcare will be an advantage.

The role will involve responsibility for your own caseload as well as working closely with the partners and solicitors of the commercial teams on business development opportunities. A genuine interest in growing business from existing clients as well as targeting and attracting new clients is therefore very important. Candidates will be expected to be able to demonstrate at interview that they have:
