Capula are looking for a Business Manager to join the team in our Singapore office which opened last year. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a growing team in a leading hedge fund and work closely with a number of different teams both in Singapore and globally.

Overall purpose of the job:

  • To support the senior management of the Singapore office in the day to day running of the Singapore Office, assuming responsibility for all administrative matters and supporting the trading team
  • To be responsible for all administrative matters for the Singapore front office including administration surrounding regulatory matters as directed by the Compliance and Corporate Services Director
  • To manage the diary of the Front Office and make travel arrangements when required
  • To prepare all expense claims for the Singapore office
  • To prepare meeting presentations as required
  • To arrange Board meetings and the associated logistical arrangements where required
  • To provide support for the Singapore trading team as needed including travel arrangements and expense administration
  • Minute taking at various meetings as required
  • Assist the Compliance and Corporate Services Director with ad-hoc projects
  • Managing 3rd Party Service Providers relating to Admin (accounting, legal, audit, IT etc.)
  • Liaise with administration teams in London, US, HK and Japan in order to provide support and assistance for visiting employees
  • Assist with the on-boarding of new employees by providing support to the London based HR team dealing with visa applications, sourcing temporary housing etc.
  • Assist the London based HR team as required with ad hoc HR policies and processes as required for the Singapore office

Education and Qualifications

  • A university degree is preferred but not essential


  • At least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrable PA/ support experience at a Senior level
  • Office Management and/or HR experience
  • Preferably experience working in finance, either on the sell side or buy side


  • A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • A self starter, motivated and able to work in a dynamic working environment.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities.
  • Flexibility in approach.
  • "Can do" attitude.
  • Solutions based approach.
  • Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
