Duties and responsibilities:

This role maintains the health and efficiency of all application infrastructure, provides professional hands-on implementation and technical advice to ensure the successful implementation of IT Infrastructure.

  • Provide support of application platforms at the enterprise level which includes automating platform build, patches, vulnerabilities, change management, incident management, monitoring, and continued platform improvement
  • Collaborate with peers, technology partners and vendors to identify, automate, and roll out patches; resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Perform security and certificate management and help to address security issues in a timely manner.
  • Takes a proactive approach to identify areas needing improvement and develops plans to address them
  • Participate with design, implementation and planning of global initiatives

Please note that in addition to the above duties, the employee may be asked to perform other duties when required by the business.

Education and Qualifications

  • A degree in a technical/ quantitative discipline is desirable

Experience

  • 5+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, education
  • Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment, including weekends and holidays
  • Experience working in a financial institution

Skills

  • Have strong PKI experience in a windows-based environment
  • Proficiency and experience implementing and maintaining Microsoft Server Operating Systems & Active Directory architecture
  • Experience developing scripting and automation of repetitive administrative tasks
  • Working knowledge of network protocols and standards
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes for compliance
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Well versed in VMware technologies and have strong storage knowledge.
  • Resolves reported system issues in a timely manner
  • Possesses an open minded approach, listens to the opinions of others, strong teamwork mentality and completes tasks in a timely manner
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365
  • Experience with Secrets Management and Okta
