We are currently seeking an Associate to support the Singapore team
with a particular focus on corporate investigations, regulatory
compliance, and commercial litigation. The role presents a fantastic
opportunity to join a team of industry experts, acting on behalf of a
diverse local and international client base, with the opportunity to
participate in a range of business development-related activities.
The team has a large number of dual qualified and local language
speaking lawyers enabling the firm to work in an increasing number of
jurisdictions throughout the region. We pride ourselves on being able
to offer offshore and onshore expert legal advice particularly since
the establishment of the Singapore Joint Legal Venture with Clasis LLC
in 2013.

Key responsibilities
Assist the Partner and other team members on a range of complex
and large-scale matters in particular on regulatory offences, civil
litigation, and white-collar criminal defence.
Conducting legal research and analysis related to a broad spectrum
of corporate investigations, regulatory compliance, and commercial
dispute resolution.
Advising on conduct of corporate investigations into corruption,
employee misconduct and fraud, as well as their interactions with
law enforcement and regulatory bodies.
Being a key point of contact for, and liaising with local and
global clients.
Leading and participating in business development activities.
Initiating court actions and arbitrations to protect time bar.
Appearing and representing clients in Singapore court and handling
litigation and arbitration proceedings.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will ideally have:
6 years' post-qualification experience in Singapore acting for and
advising clients.
Strong academic results and be qualified to practise in Singapore.
Proven legal experience in the regulatory and investigations department.
Strong drafting skills and excellent attention to detail.
Proven ability to work as part of a team with limited supervision.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and networking ability.
