We are looking for a Senior Associate level lawyer with between 5-8

actions preferred) and a solid background managing discovery.
About the team
The role presents a fantastic opportunity to join a team who work in
an increasing number of jurisdictions throughout the region on behalf

Join a team of leading specialists in their field, focusing on
contentious and non-contentious marine, international trade and

You will be advising legal counsel, senior executives and their

both domestically and internationally.
We are open to hearing from people with extensive complex commercial

therefore sharing of knowledge, team inclusion, accountability and a
track record of success as a team player are key requirements.
Key responsibilities

team members on a range of complex and large-scale matters,
including but not limited to:

Team Management: You will have experience
delegating to junior staff and be willing to help partners and
Special Counsel to manage the team and foster team work.
Client Management: You will be comfortable liaising
directly with regional and global clients and that you will be able
to build a trusted adviser relationship. We will support you to be
actively involved in business development work.
Supervising Discovery: Superior skills related to
managing e-discovery and electronic data collection in the context
of large, complex litigation. You will oversee large scale doc
review to elicit key information, and effectively train juniors and
guide processes.
Communication: Clear and effective communication is
essential, both in conveying legal advice to clients and in
negotiating with opposing parties.
Candidate profile
Suitable candidates will be Australian or dual qualified and have
experience gained in an international or leading national firm.
Candidates will have minimum 5 years' post qualification experience.
Proven experience working on litigation matters within the Supreme
and Federal Courts, and a commitment to technical excellence.

collection in the context of large, complex litigation.
Ability to juggle a range of tasks and prioritise effectively to
role model and instill similar work habits in more junior team members.
Clear commercial understanding and outcome driven approach with a
desire to deliver the highest quality service and advice to leading
international clients.

the team's work but to also find creative new solutions.
Strong technical legal skills and exceptional service delivery to
provide timely responses to internal/external clients.
Proven ability to work as part of a team with varying levels of
responsibility and supervision depending upon the matter.
