Clyde & Co has an opportunity for a Appellate Lawyer/Trial Support
for our Miami, FL office. This thriving trial practice represents
various corporations, insureds, insurers and individuals in complex,
high-stakes disputes, claims and lawsuits primarily defending matters
involving product liability, general liability, premises liability,
construction, property and casualty liability and other related matters.
Responsibilities
Pre-trial motions and memorandum;
Attendance at trial/legal support;
Post-trial motions, and
Appeals
Education and Experience Required
At least 3 years of trial and litigation experience;
State and federal court experience;
Excellent academic credentials;
Solid work history.
Skills and Abilities Required
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills;
Interpersonal, leadership and mentoring skills;
Ability to handle matters of a highly sensitive nature;
Ability to handle time sensitive matters, sometimes several simultaneously;
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects;
Excellent organizational and time management skills;
Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly.
