The Team
Our dedicated global aircraft finance and leasing practice has
experience with transactions involving all types of aircraft and
financing structures.
They act for airlines, lessors, lenders, financial institutions and
investors on commercial and business aircraft finance transactions worldwide.
Clients include established names as well as new and emerging market
entrants. We have knowledge of all types of commercial aircraft
finance, lease and sale and purchase transactions. Our extensive
experience includes acting on numerous multi-billion dollar new
aircraft orders, thousands of aircraft and engine operating lease and
leveraged operating lease finance transactions, tax-structured
financings, insurance and guarantee-backed financings, pre-delivery
payment financings and advising on commercial dispute, enforcement and
workout situations.
The Role
The successful candidate will support on a wide range of
transactional, finance and leasing matters with our aviation clients,
including commercial airlines and business jets. There is also
opportunity to be involved in regulatory work and supporting
finance/leasing-based litigation.
Essential Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will have qualified as a solicitor in
England & Wales or another relevant jurisdiction with a desire
to pursue a specialism in aviation finance
At least two years' experience working in Aviation Finance at a
leading law firm
The Solicitors Act 1974 requires practising solicitors to have a
practising certificate
All solicitors and registered European lawyers in legal practice
or employment in England & Wales must comply with the
requirements of the Solicitors Regulation Authority's continuing
professional development scheme (CPD Scheme)
