Responsibilities
For our office in Hamburg we are looking for a
Lawyer (m/f/d) with experience in the area of Ship
Finance. Our team in Hamburg is passionate about all aspects of
maritime law and is offering new opportunities in the area of maritime
financing. We are looking for a German qualified lawyer with 4+ years
of experience and who is highly motivated and proactive with their caseload.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Advising on all aspects of maritime financing, including ship and
asset financing as well as restructuring;
Consulting highly demanding clients such as domestic and
international banks and other financial institutions;
Drafting motions, pleadings, briefs, discovery requests and
interrogatories, and other legal correspondence and litigation documents;
Conducting complex and rigorous legal research and analysis, and
drafting memoranda;
Preparing status reports and recommendations to clients.
Education and Experience
A German law degree with 4+ years of experience in an
international law firm;
Practical experience in financing, ideally in in the area of
maritime law;
Enthusiasm for legally challenging work in an international environment;
Your communicative and strong interpersonal skills make a positive
impression on internal and external contacts;
Excellent organizational and time management skills and the
ability to identify and resolve problems quickly;
Strong ability to work in a team.
