We are seeking a proactive,
commercial, and results-driven manager, with experience in service
delivery and service management.
This role will lead the finance
services team, which is dedicated to delivering high-quality
financial services across the organisation. Comprising of skilled
professionals with diverse expertise, the team is responsible for a
wide range of financial functions including Order to Cash, Procure
to Pay and Record to Report. As a collaborative and dynamic group,
the team is committed to continuous improvement and excellence in
service delivery.
The GBS Finance Services Manager
will play a pivotal role in the establishment and management of the
new Global Business Services (GBS) Delivery Centre in Glasgow. This
role has a leadership, and operational delivery focus, supporting a
business with significant growth priorities, an exciting
transformation agenda and the aspiration to create and sustain a
high-performance culture within all aspects of its business.
In addition this role will bring
Procure to Pay (PTP) expertise working with the finance leadership
to provide performance insight, best practice and continuous
improvement across the end to end PTP process. As we transform our
finance processes this role will assist the broader finance
organization in the deployment of new systems and act as a subject
matter expert and point of escalation in addressing issues and
escalations within the PTP process.
The successful candidate must be
able to operate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, be a great
coach, a strong leader and have the ability to liaise effectively
with senior stakeholders.
