The Role

The post holder will play a crucial role in fostering a positive organisational voice, driving engagement and adoption of HR systems, processes and strategic initiatives through communication strategies. They will be responsible for developing and implementing global communication plans that support the effective delivery of key people messages, providing a consistent tone of voice and delivering messages in the context of our people value proposition and broader firm priorities. Reporting to the Head of Organisational Development, this new role will sit in the global Organisational Development team and work closely with the HR Innovation Hub, People Operations, Employer Brand and Global Communications teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and teams to develop and implement internal communication and engagement campaigns on a range of areas, from HR systems, processes and cyclical HR activities to strategic initiatives
  • Create and distribute impactful internal communications, tailored to the needs of employees and leaders to keep them informed and engaged on key people matters
  • Draft communications for delivery through a variety of channels, such as emails, newsletters, MS Teams communities, presentations and the intranet
  • Own and maintain the global HR communications plan, proactively planning ahead to ensure effective delivery
  • Provide comms support for broader Organisational Development projects and initiatives as required
  • Proactively identify and communicate linkages between projects and activities, including firm strategy and priorities, to create a consistent narrative
  • Continually review and adapt communication and engagement practices to support the evolving needs of the HR function and firm
  • Develop a technical knowledge of Clyde & Co's brand and communication guidelines to ensure communications are consistent across the firm
  • Collaborate with HR teams to address feedback and concerns through communication channels
  • Build relationships with HR leaders and other stakeholders to establish credibility and support the adoption of new HR programmes and initiatives
  • Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of communication efforts through defined metrics
  • Continuously strive to improve and innovate communication strategies and processes

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in delivering engagement and communications campaigns, strategies and content
  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and impactful messages for different audiences
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Knowledge of best practices and industry trends, including emerging technologies
  • Self-starter and adaptive to change
  • Adept at managing multiple projects
  • Strong organisation and planning skills
  • Commercially aware
  • Understanding of HR practices and trends (desirable)
  • Experience of SharePoint Online software (desirable)
  • Graphics/creative design experience (desirable)
