The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented IDAM Analyst to join our team and
support the ongoing management and security of our Active Directory
environment. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the
backbone of our organization's identity and access control. The role
will be responsible for ensuring that the right people have the right
access to the right resources, while adhering to strict security
protocols. This includes processing user account requests efficiently
and accurately, maintaining user groups and permissions, and assisting
with configurations within Active Directory. It will also be
instrumental in facilitating seamless integrations with our enterprise
platform products, ensuring a smooth user experience and streamlined
access control across various applications. By staying up to date on
evolving IDAM best practices and Active Directory features, you will
contribute significantly to the overall health and security of our
IDAM program
Key Responsibilities
Process user account requests (creation, modification,
deactivation) within Active Directory.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date user group memberships and permissions.
Assist with the configuration and management of Active Directory
objects such as, Security Groups, OUs, User and Computer accounts.
Analyze user activity and identify potential access control issues.
Support Active Directory integrations with enterprise platforms
(e.g., CRM, ERP) through assigned tasks (data gathering, testing).
Monitor Active Directory health and report any irregularities.
Assist with the documentation of IDAM processes and procedures.
Stay current on evolving IDAM best practices and Active Directory features.
Assist with security incident response and investigation where required.
Assist with major incidents response and resolution where required.
Assist with office move technology logistics.
Assist with project delivery.
Ad-hoc tasks assigned by Manager.
Essential Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field preferred.
1-2 years in support and administrative roles with experience in
user account management and access control principles.
Work Execution: Works under close supervision and work is reviewed
frequently. Able to follow standard processes effectively and efficiently.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong written &
verbal communication skills. Ability to show and communicate
empathy. Tenacity & work ethic -willingness to do what needs to
be done and not take shortcuts. Understanding of when to escalate an
issue to ensure expedient resolution for customer.
Solution Knowledge & Problem Identification: General, broad
understanding of supported solutions. Able to quickly identify
customer needs, perform pre-defined checks, and provide basic
answers/tips based on personal knowledge or use of knowledge base articles.
Documentation & Training: Contributes to documentation and
knowledge sharing with guidance and direction.
Task Control & Escalation: Ability to recognize potential
large-scale issues or recurring problems and inform/escalate as necessary.
