Description

The Role

Department: Real Estate Finance

Location: London or Guildford

Role: Permanent

The Team

Our real estate finance team works with clients globally to achieve their strategic objectives, wherever you or the property are located. We have the expertise required to advise you on the full range of real estate finance transactions, from standard structures to the most complex deals and funding arrangements. We advise on restructuring portfolios, securing financing for a development, refinancing or releasing equity for acquisitions, structuring funds to attract investors and maximising tax efficiency.

We act for the full range of real estate sector clients from landowners, private individuals, international property developers, property investment companies and property funds to major financial institutions, challenger banks, mezzanine lenders and building societies.

Working closely with market participants on a recurring basis ensures that we understand the inherent intricate real estate refinancing and restructuring issues. We have particular expertise in the commercial, residential, industrial, hospitality, healthcare, student accommodation and retail property sectors.

We are highly regarded for our work on high value complex transactions and provide a multi-disciplinary team which combines the expertise of our banking, real estate, corporate, construction, planning, tax, restructuring and dispute resolution know-how. This ensures that clients benefit from one dedicated client-centric team throughout the course of financing their real estate transactions.

The Role

We are looking for a junior associate to join our banking and finance team, ideally in the one to 2 year qualification range. Whilst we predominantly do real estate finance (as further detailed above) we also cover general banking including for example corporate lending, trade finance and project finance so there will be opportunities to cover over types of banking work if that is of interest.
