Clyde & Co has an opportunity in Las Vegas for an
insurance coverage litigation attorney with 4 - 6 years of
experience. We are looking for a bright, ambitious, highly motivated
lawyer, with experience in complex insurance coverage litigation
matters. Excellent writing skills are a must.
Our Las Vegas practice represents and advises insurers
in coverage matters involving both property and liability insurance,
including CGL, professional liability, inland marine, construction
defects, and directors' and officers' liability. The firm represents
insurers in coverage and bad faith litigation in federal and state
courts throughout the Southwest.
Responsibilities
Draft pleadings and briefs;
Prepare and respond to written discovery
Prepare correspondence to colleagues and clients;
Analyze insurance policies, drafting coverage
opinions and providing recommendations for clients;
Conduct legal research using Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis;
Review documents in preparation for litigation;
Attend and conduct depositions, hearings, and
mediations as required;
Submit filings to the court.
Education and Experience Required
Admitted to practice and currently residing in Nevada
- additional admission(s) a plus;
4 - 6 years of insurance coverage experience;
Excellent academic credentials;
Solid work history.
