With multi-jurisdictional experience aligned to the
far-reaching international exposure of cyberattacks and data
breaches, our global team provides practical, commercial and
tailored advice to our clients facing threats in this area.
Cyber liability is among the most complex risks challenging
companies today. We manage the full lifecycle of cyber risks for
clients through the Readiness, Respond and Recover phases.
We are one of the first and only law firms to specialise in
manging cyber risk and have worked on over 6,000 data breaches ,
ranging from small single person breaches to some of the largest and
most complicated global multi-jurisdictional security incidents to date.
We provide a range of pre-breach (Readiness) services
including cyber simulations. We advise corporate clients, insurers
and their insureds in evaluating data breaches and cyber exposures,
regularly assist in organising immediate and effective responses to
suspected breaches and cyber threats (Respond). This includes
negotiating with attackers, managing forensics investigations,
undertaking data analysis, notifying regulators, implementing
notification programmes and dealing with law enforcement and
government authorities. We also advise on post-notification
requests, complaints and claims including class action based
litigation alongside regulatory investigations including launching
enforcement challenges and appeals (Recover).
Our cyber practice and the work we undertake is global. The
matters we work on are fast-moving and dynamic in nature. They
involve working with international clients, leading cyber market
experts, key law enforcement and government bodies, well-known
threat groups and cutting-edge technologies.
Recent assignments include global breaches for technology
companies, multi-million ransomware events for retailers including
full PCI-PFI investigations, cross-border incidents for financial
services companies with dozens of regulators and group litigation
following breaches for a number of clients.
The practice is growing rapidly which had led to this latest
role and opportunity. The team is collegiate, supportive and friendly.
The Role
With this fee-earning role, the Cyber team are
looking for a Junior Legal Project & Delivery Manager to support
the team in London, working alongside the Legal Project and Delivery
Manager. The role is very diverse, and the successful candidate will
have a wide range of responsibilities, from supporting the
management of incidents, driving the implementation, use and
development of LPM best practices, and managing Clyde & Co's
data mining product. Full training will be provided for the right
candidate, however, experience working in a law firm is preferred.
Skills
Essential Skills & Experience
Ability to build relationships with
colleagues of varying levels of seniority and collaborate with
cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation and timely
completion of cyber matters
Efficient management of matters,
including initial scoping, budgeting, and workstream planning, as
well as on-going matter management, tracking and data analysis.
Assist with the preparation of engagement letters for clients,
local counsel and vendors, as well as in the preparation of
product documentation, proposals and presentations for cyber
products as required.
Instructing, liaising with and tracking
local counsel workstreams.
Drive MI data input across matter lifecycle.
Drive forward strategic projects,
including the management of the Mynah product, a legal led data
mining solution designed for cyber incident data assessment.
Support the Legal Project and Delivery
Manager in coordinating with the legal operations and support
teams, including finance, related to the Mynah product and other
Cyber products.
Facilitate the engagement with
technology partners and use of technology partner management
systems for running cyber projects.
Assist in training and empowering
associates and other fee earners to utilise templates and
disseminate knowledge about the Mynah product and standard
processes to facilitate optimum matter management.
Support the development of legal project
management systems, including assisting with the design and
development of case management systems and future automation projects.
Contribute to the expansion of the Mynah
product (and other cyber products) to other jurisdictions beyond
the UK and Australia, including liaising with teams in the UAE and
South Africa. Support the design and development of the legal
project management structure around future cyber products,
including coordinating with the Legal Delivery & Innovation
and Legal Operations teams.
