Associate (2-5 PQE) - Health & Safety/ Regulatory
Crime - Manchester office
We are looking for an associate solicitor
(2-5 years PQE) to join our specialist Safety, Health &
Environment (SHE) Regulatory Department in the Manchester office.
This is a unique opportunity to become a specialist in this
fascinating area of law to work in one of the country's leading SHE
Regulatory teams representing various corporate clients, to include on
one of the country's most significant corporate manslaughter
investigations which is also likely to feature a super-inquest.
Please note that our PQE levels are a
guide and all suitable candidates will be considered.

This is an exciting opportunity to work for a top 20 International
law firm with one of the UK's country's leading Safety, Health &
Environmental (SHE) departments, working out of its Manchester office.
Recognised in Chambers & Partners and the Legal 500 for both
disciplines of Health and Safety and Environmental work, we have a
collaborative, supportive team working in a modern, flexible environment.
Essential Skills & Experience
You should ideally have 2-5 years PQE with some previous
experience of manslaughter, health & safety, fire safety or
environmental crime. However, candidates without this experience who
wish to pursue a career in SHE regulatory crime/re-train will also
be considered - full training will be provided to all candidates.
You will be bright/ambitious with strong academics.
You will be a highly determined individual able to adapt well
within a fast-paced team.
You will be willing and available to travel to anywhere in England
and Wales to support clients.
You will enjoy being challenged by
complex legal issues and expanding your knowledge.
You will be a confident and effective communicator.
You will be focussed on delivering a
highly professional service to clients, including compliance with
client SLAs and MI requirements.
