Clyde & Co has an excellent opportunity for an Attorney with 1 -
3 years of experience to join our insurance coverage litigation group.
This position is located in our Dallas office and associates
can work on a hybrid basis. This practice represents
insurers in complex commercial litigation and insurance coverage
matters, including the defense of bad faith actions against insurers,
and coverage disputes pertaining to general liability, property, and
professional liability policies.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced attorney who is
able to work within a busy and fast-paced team environment.
Main Responsibilities
Analyze insurance policies, draft coverage opinions and provide
coverage recommendations for clients;
Draft pleadings and briefs, and correspondence to clients;
Conduct legal researches using Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis;
Draft interrogatories and document demands;
Review document collections in preparation for litigation; and
Submit filings to the court.
Requirements
Admitted to practice in Texas;
Excellent academic credentials;
Interest in insurance coverage required, experience with general
liability policies a plus;
Some commercial litigation experience required;
Excellent legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills;
Exceptional attention to detail; and
Strong organizational and time management skills.
