opportunity for a litigation attorney with 2-4 years of experience to
join our aviation, aerospace and products liability practice. We are
looking for bright litigators familiar with the litigation process,
and an excellent writer who is highly motivated and proactive with
their caseload—someone who will be able to act independently
throughout the discovery process and assist in trial, with an interest
in working on those matters.
Our team is passionate about our practice and committed to
efficiently and effectively meeting litigation and client driven
deadlines. This practice includes representing airlines; airports;
municipalities; government contractors; retailers; manufacturers of
commercial, aviation, space, military, and consumer products; and
their insurers.
The open position is for an attorney located in Los Angeles,
Orange County or San Francisco, but we are also open to other
locations in California for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Taking depositions, arguing motions, and attending court hearings
and mediations as required;
Drafting motions, pleadings, briefs, discovery requests and
interrogatories, and other legal correspondence and litigation documents;
Conducting complex and rigorous legal research and analysis, and
drafting memoranda;
Preparing status reports and recommendations to clients;
Reviewing document collections in preparation for litigation;
Working on all aspects of litigation, from the initial responsive
pleading through trial.
Education and Experience
Experience in the field of aviation and/or products liability
is ideal. Preferred candidates will possess the following skills and characteristics:
Discovery and Law and Motion experience;
State and Federal court experience;
Excellent academic credentials and work history.
Skills and Ability
Superior writing, and analytical skills;
Strong Interpersonal skills;
Ability to handle matters of a highly sensitive nature;
Ability to handle time sensitive matters, sometimes several simultaneously;

The salary range for this position is $160,000 - $180,000 for San
Francisco; $155,000 - $175,000 for Los Angeles; and $150,000 -
$170,000 for Orange County. The range for this role takes into account
the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation
decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and
training; licensure and certifications; and other business and
organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been
adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with
the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical
for an individual to be hired near the top of the range for their role
and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and
circumstances of each case.
