Clyde's California- based insurance
coverage team is seeking an Insurance Coverage Associate.
This opportunity is located in Los
Angeles, Orange County, or San Francisco but we are also open to
other locations in California or nationally for the right candidate.
The position involves representation of
domestic insurers with regard to coverage advice and litigation
involving commercial general liability and excess policies.
What you'll do:
Analyze insurance policies and draft
coverage opinions.
Conduct legal research, analyze
findings, and draft memoranda.
Prepare and analyze pleadings,
discovery, motions, supporting briefs, and legal correspondence
regarding insurance coverage litigation.
Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations.
Take a proactive role in managing
matters and deadlines.
We're looking for someone who:
Possesses strong academic skills.
Is admitted to practice in California or
has received passing results for the July 2024 California Bar
Exam. Admission in other states such as Nevada, Oregon, or
Washington is a plus.
Demonstrated interest in insurance
coverage work.
Has excellent legal research, writing,
and oral communication skills.
Has strong organizational and
time-management skills.
Has the ability to simultaneously handle
sensitive and time-sensitive matters.
Has effective problem-solving skills.
Has the ability to manage and prioritize
multiple tasks.
What we offer:
The salary range for this position is
$150,000 - $160,000 for 1st and 2nd year Associates.

offices and the opportunity for remote work for experienced
candidates.
