The Team
This is a new opportunity to join the market-leading Global
Procurement function at Clyde & Co, to introduce best practice,
embed sustainability, drive continuous improvement and deliver value
through Procurement.
In the last 2 years the Clyde Procurement team has undergone an
incredible transformation journey. We are centered around camaraderie
and dedication resulting in one of the strongest procurement functions
in professional services.
The HR and Professional Services category team manages all spend,
suppliers and stakeholders in the HR, Business Consulting, Marketing,
Comms and PR teams.
Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder and Category Management
Support the Global Category Managers with the implementation and
communication of the Procurement strategy plan for categories
including supplier management as appropriate.
Managing and executing procurement projects; both supporting and
influencing strategic and commercial decisions related to various categories/projects.
Stakeholder and Supplier Management related to the category both
during the procurement and service delivery stage.
Proactive management and accountability for all procurement
activity and 3rd party spend within specified categories.
Supplier Management
Work with internal teams and stakeholders to manage performance
and relationship with suppliers.
Drive continuous improvement across the supplier base and process
improvements that deliver tangible service and commercial outcomes.
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven experience within Indirect Procurement with the ability to
work across multiple sub-categories within HR and Professional Services.
Demonstrable experience operating in a commercially focused,
strategic procurement team with strong analytical experience.
Experience of managing end-to-end procurement processes over
multiple projects.
Ability to deliver successful commercial and contractual negotiations.
Notable level of procurement delivery including RFx, market
analysis and supplier management.
Excellent levels of written and verbal communication, with strong
influencing skills.
Ability to build solid and lasting working relationships with the
Procurement team, stakeholders and suppliers CIPS qualified or
working towards qualification is desirable.
